Team USA Sweeps International Biology Olympiad
McLean, Virginia – July 20, 2009 – The Center for Excellence in Education (CEE)announced today the four member Team USA took home four gold medals at the International Biology Olympiad held in Tsukuba,Japan. This marks the third consecutive year the U.S. team garnered this world recognition. Team USA competed with 55 other nations in this year’s prestigious competition.
U.S. team members Jonathan Liang (MD) and Seungsoo Kim (WA)scored first and second places, respectively, in the world in the theoretical portion of the examination.
